FOREIGN EXPERIENCE TO COUNTERACT RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM (ON THE EXAMPLE OF INDIVIDUAL STATES)

Abstract:
This article demonstrates the results of a study of foreign experience to counteract religiously based extremist ideology, focusing on the practices of the United States, Germany, and China. Taking into consideration globalization and a multipolar world formation, research into the methods and mechanisms used by different countries to counteract religious extremism contributes to the unification of law enforcement agencies work and the development of coordinated interstate cooperation. At the same time, the diversity of religious, cultural, political, and territorial characteristics of these countries is taken into account. This experience has potential positive implications for Russia, whose specifics is multiculturalism and ethnic diversity. Furthermore, the knowledge acquired in the process of this study may be useful not only to ensure security of the Russian citizens but also to adapt migrants while maintaining a balance among national traditions, human rights, and effective extremism prevention. Thus, the article emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach that combines legal, social and cultural aspects to counteract religious extremism in the modern global world.
