Abstract:
The article considers the problem of forming the specialized knowledge of a hand-writing expert: it analyzes the traditional approach to training and the possibilities of its improvement through the development of research skills. It is suggested that the subject of scientific and research work training consists of the laws of theoretical and experimental research of objects and the process of forensic handwriting examination, generalization of empirical data, development and implementation of methods and techniques of forensic handwriting examination into practice. The main attention is paid to the development, testing, validation, certification, standardization of methodological support for forensic handwriting examination. The main provisions revealing the essence of these actions are considered. It is concluded that the laws of scientific and research work in the field of foren-sic handwriting examination form an independent subject of training and are included in the structure of specialized knowledge of handwriting experts. Based on their for-mation, conditions are created for further development of methodological support for forensic handwriting examination.
