An example of generating a matrix code on the blade containing information about the protocol of testing the Legion D2 TacWash travel knife in the laboratory is described. Possible benefits discussed include: improved accounting and control processes, increased transparency of trade transactions, integration with existing tracking systems, and easier access to data for expert evaluation. The relevance of the topic is related to the need for strengthening the control over arms trafficking, improving the speed and accuracy of research by providing access to up-to-date information on certification sheets. Concluding, conclusions and assessments are given on the need to further explore and discuss this approach for possible implementation. The results of the study could serve as a basis for further initiatives and innovations in the field of marking and control of weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation.
