Abstract:
In the practical activities of experts home-made firearms, which are made using parts and parts of decommissioned (chilled) weapons, often come to the study. To answer the questions raised about the method of manufacturing such weapons, in the production of ballistic examinations and research, it is necessary to know the design features of new models of decommissioned weapons, to be able to distinguish between design modifications made at the manufacturer's factory from modifications made by a home-made method. Currently, there is not enough special literature on the designs of new types of decommissioned weapons. The article discusses the design features of the main parts of the new models of foreign-made decommissioned weapons, namely: pistols of the Eagle X and Retay X1 models. Illustrations and a description of the location of structural changes in this weapon made at the manufacturer's factory, as well as traces formed on the metal surface as a result of their deactivation, are given.
