In the article a possible way of analyzing interrogative statements forming an integral part of theoretic structures and day-to-day practice is stated. The classification of questions, their preconditions and possible answers is given. The attention is paid to the problematic issues and prospects of using the means of modern logic in solving up-to-date problems of reconstructing a question-answer dialogue, in particular in the sphere of law enforcement.
