Abstract (English):
On the basis of the book written by V.M. Doroshevich, the authors examined the problem of crime and punishment, the psychological types of prisoners, also discussed the questions of the criminology, juridical psychology, penitentiary law. The research is made from different points of view: philology, law and psychology. The authors focused on what based the origins of the prisoner types: foreign sources or national.
