Abstract:
This article is devoted to the founders and participants of the scientific school "Problems of evidence and the use of specialized knowledge in criminal proceedings" at the Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia: its guide, honored worker of the higher school of the Russian Federation, doctor of juridical sciences, full professor Ye. A. Zaitseva, as well as the participants — professors at the department of criminal procedure of the educational and scientific complex for the preliminary investigation in the internal affairs bodies of the Academy: doctor of juridical sciences, full professor M. T. Ashirbekova, candidate of juridical sciences, professor V. G. Glebov, doctor of juridical sciences, docent I. S. Dikarev, doctor of juridical sciences, full professor M. S. Kolosovich, doctor of juridical sciences, full professor G. A. Pechnikov. The article provides an overview of their academic interests and achievements, as well as biographical information. It is noted, that many ideas of the department’s scientists have found a response in the scientific world, having been developed in the works of their followers, and gaining recognition among practitioners — heads of departments of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia at various levels, investigators and inquiry officers. A number of proposals made by these scientists and their students is taken into account by the legislator, and introduced into the educational process of leading domestic and foreign universities training specialists for law enforcement agencies.
