Abstract:
Based on the speech at the All-Russian Conference on November 15, 2024 the author of the given article deals with an upcoming trend to enhance efficiency of criminal proceedings that is standardization of proving in the context of digital transformation of criminal procedure. Standardization in such regard should be considered as one of the conditions for inter-branch convergence of procedural branches of law written by A. R. Sharipova in her dissertation for the degree of doctor of juridical sciences. The author of the given article agreed her position. To ensure a unified approach to the standardization of proving in context of implementing the idea of cross-sector convergence one need a coordinating body capable to solve such large-scale problems out of sectorial dependence. The author of the article substantiates the possibility of assigning such tasks to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. It is through the prism of the specified new mission of the supreme body of the constitutional normative control that its decisions are assessed for the ability to im-plement the idea of cross-sector convergence.
