The article is devoted to problematic issues of theoretical and practical application of up-to-date computer technologies for training law enforcement agencies’ staff. The author reveals the main issues and components of the distance learning technologies’ system as well as the experience of developing and applying special purpose monitoring and simulation training computer programs in higher education institutions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
