Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to studying meaning and nature of the war phenomenon. Showing the nature of the war phenomenon the authors analyze the most influential theories such as biological, geographical, social ethical, psychological, cosmopolitan, and Marxist. The authors suggest their own understanding of the nature of war consisting in the particular human world outlook typical for agricultural, industrial, and information civilization.
