In the article the authors consider the use of fast firing techniques according to the rules set by the Russian Practical Shooting Federation as means for improving efficiency of teaching firearms training in the higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Interior of Russia. The use of the mentioned techniques would allow the cadets to acquire the skills of secure qualified weapon handling and increase the level of weapon training.
