In the article the main problems of forensic experts’ training at the Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of Interior of Russia are considered. Ways for overcoming these problems are offered for discussion. The attention is paid to increasing the role of individual approach in training, direction and form of improving practices, on-the-job training, and the work of expert qualification commission.
