Abstract (English):
In the article the main directions of patriotic upbringing of cadets and trainees of educational institutions of the Ministry of Interior of Russia are analyzed. The authors give the definition to patriotism and consider the basic approaches to service optimization in the system of the Ministry of Interior of Russia on the basis of scientific literature.
