Abstract (English):
The article represents the evaluation of a draft bill proposed by the Investigation Committee of Russia. It is related to putting the institute of establishment of the objective truth in a criminal case into the legislation of criminal procedure. Along with this, the authors point out that such a draft bill cannot radically change the existing adversarial model of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation. It is nothing but an important step on the way to establishing the objective truth as an independent concept of criminal procedure.
