Abstract (English):
The article focuses on the problems of appropriateness and objectivity of evaluation of the police activities. On the basis of the idea about the limited use of public opinion while evaluating the police activities, the author comes to a conclusion that other criteria of such an evaluation have increased their significance. The real scientific nature in choosing approaches to the police activities’ evaluation allows implementing principles of differentiation, integration, appropriateness, and specificity in determining the efficiency of activities of internal affairs bodies on the whole and the police in particular.
