Abstract and keywords

Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the analysis of the experience of countries of Central and Eastern Europe regarding the legislative recognition of the local self-government status at the constitutional level. The author has made a comparative analysis of various models of the local self-government system and studied methods of improving their efficiency. He offers to use the experience of reforming the local self-government system in Ukraine.
