Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The author finds out the notion, content, and specific features of the judicial power and determines the content and specific features of the courts and the judicial system. Peculiarities of the courts as the object of administrative-law regulation are analyzed. Peculiarities of the courts in the system of entities of administrative law are determined. The Constitution of Ukraine of 1996 enshrined the judicial power as one of the branches of state power along with the legislative and executive ones. It doesn’t depend on the other branches of power, has its own specific problems and is implemented by a special system of entities. The judicial power in Ukraine is aimed at settling all the disputes arising in the social life. At the present time, in science there is no consensus in definition of the notion of «judicial power». The author points out that the judicial power is not only an activity on consideration and settlement of legal disputes. It includes some other types of activity being of quite a considerable importance to efficiently implement the state policy in this sphere. The judicial power can be defined as the justice implemented by the courts within the limits of authority granted by the current legislation along with all the related organizational-administrative activities. Thus, the courts’ activity can be conventionally divided into the justice and the internal organizational work.
