Theoretical-methodological and technological background of the system of vocational and applied physical training of the Russian internal affairs bodies officers, has been reviewed in this article. Based upon the application of theoretical methods (study, analysis, generalization of scientific and methodical literary matters, content analysis of the system of the governing documents regulating physical training of the Russian internal affairs bodies officers, this article represents the analysis of content, provision and indicative errors of a final examination for the determination of the officers’ physical training level. This article shows the analysis of the contents of the program-related reference documents defining the level of physical training of the Russian internal affairs bodies officers, as well as the ways and methods to increase this level. Results of the research can be the basis for thesis work on the issues of vocational and applied physical training of the Russian internal affairs bodies officers, as well as on the creation of education guides, study guides, tutorials and development, and also the basis for preparing and holding practical training classes, provided within vocational, duty-related and physical training of the Russian internal affairs bodies officers.
