Analyzing such social phenomenon as terrorism, authors convincingly prove that the terrorism doesn't represent a certain new phenomenon, and is a special, asymmetric form of war. Interesting the transition designated by authors from war total to war terrorist is represented. In it the reasons and a semantic field of terrorist war reveal. Authors adduce the telling rational arguments explaining popularity of war and terrorist war in 20 and 21 eyelid. Authors mark out characteristic features and compare war traditional and war terrorist on a number of signs, such as intensity of operations, number of participants, management type, to tactical receptions, arms, the purposes of the armed fight, outlook type, the relation to observance of the legislation, technical equipment. Authors put forward the debatable thesis that in difference from traditional war, terrorist war isn't only the policy tool, but war and policy connect and become indiscernible. Except distinctive features traditional war and terrorism have much in common. This prosecution of political goals, support on violence and fear, use of the armed force, the victim among people, the general source of emergence disappearing both in social contradictions, and in a destructive component of the nature of the person seeking for destruction of and other people.
