Changes taking place in the educational work in the interior bodies today distantly resemble returning to the Soviet system of political party work that had positively recommended itself during various periods of state development. The difference between concepts «political party work» and «educational work» is in the fact that concepts «political party work» and «educational work» were synonyms in the Soviet era, and today «educational work» is one of the types of «moral-psychological provision» (but the main one). The article deals with the contradictions that are the results of formation of the system of moral-psychological provision of operative service activity of the Russian Federation interior bodies; incorrect separation of moral-psychological provision for types of activity; obvious contraction of educational work spectrum; unwarranted structure overload of the system of moral-psychological provision of operative service activity of the staff; evident discrepancy and repetition of functions and duties of officials. Analysis of these contradictions gives an opportunity to form a set of suggestions on improvement of educational work in the interior bodies system.
