The article proves the necessity of a comparative analysis of the criminal procedural institutions under the criminal procedure codes of the Russian Federation and other countries. The author compares the conditions of the survey under the Criminal procedure codes of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. Discusses the peculiarities of legal regulation of the subject composition examination under the laws of both States, the possibility of using force survey, methods of fixation examination, defended the view that in any situation, the investigator must find the most appropriate means to persuade the person to be examined By way of conclusion there is a deduction drawn that addressing the issues of legal regulation of visual inspection and examination both in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Belarus is bound to serve the goals of improving personal rights guarantees by conducting visual inspection and examination and therefore optimizing the order and circumstances of the aforementioned investigative activities in criminal procedures of the two countries.
