Abstract (English):
The article deals with the main life points and scientific achievements of the leading scientists in the detective activity sphere, playing a considerable role in the development of the science itself. Formation of theory of detective activity began in 1953, when the first Department of Detective Activity was established in Moscow Training College of Militia. Owing to the force of circumstances the author of this article had occasion to associate with all scientists in the field of detective activity, who in the 1960-1970-s of the XX century worked out conceptual fundamentals of relatively new research branch - theory of detective activity (Lekar A.G., Grebelsky D.V., Lukashov V.A., Bobrov V.G.). The communication practices with the recognized scientists are used in the article as a reflection the personal impressions.
