Abstract (English):
The article dwells on issues of legal regulation and the definition of the content of administrative constraint measures used by law enforcement officers in accordance with the Federal Law «On the Police». The author grounds the high practical importance of correct legal fixation of the content of administrative constraint. Such fixation provides an accurate definition of the volume of the limitations of rights caused by the constraint. The rights understanding of the content of administrative constraint lets an officer avoid various violations of the law in his/her activity. Taking into account some legal acts and opinions of law enforcement officers the author defines the content of the administrative constraint measures most commonly used in the officers’ activity. The author proposes amending of the Federal Law «On the police» as well.
