The subject of the research is the theory-methodological basis of the annual training cycle structure of the highly qualified sportsmen in the frames of the professional applied physical training. Using the theoretical methods: analysis, the scientific-methodical material generalization, content-analysis of the documents regulating military, physical and psychological trainings of the police workers of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry the authors represent the theoretical research of the problems connected with the professional activity of the police workers of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry while mastering sport activity in the groups of service applied sports activities. The theoretical premises of the urgency of the studied problem are shown the up to date state of the methodological approaches are analyzed the three variants of the annual training cycle of the sport mastering «judo» groups in the educational establishments of the Internal Affairs Ministry system are offered. The results of the study can be a base for the further scientific research, developing the educational-methodological appliances for the police workers of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry.
