In this article are considered the list of situations to which the staff of traffic police in operational and service activity can get. In it reveals features of application of firearms and special means in the course of service. Personal inspection of passengers in the presence of the bases to believe reveals features of verification of documents of the driver and passengers (algorithm of actions of a dress for verification of documents and examination of the vehicle), examination of baggage and the vehicle, that these persons are suspected of commission of crime. Authors of article analyze situations of operational and service activity by the staff of traffic police and offer policy strokes of their actions in a situation of examination of the vehicle and in a prosecution situation. Authors carry out the detailed analysis of typical mistakes of staff of traffic police in the conditions of prosecution of offenders with application of firearms. Recommendations of actions of employees in a situation of a use of weapons by the offender, the vehicle of staff of traffic police are stated.
