VICTIMITY (VICTIMHOOD) AND VICTIMIZATION AS THE MAIN CATEGORIES OF THE SCIENCE OF CRIMINAL VICTIMOLOGY

Abstract (English):
Viktimology in a literal translation means "the doctrine about the victim". In relation to the criminological theory and practice of counteraction of crime, it is about the victims not in general, and it is concrete about the victims of crimes, that is about criminal aspect of a viktimology or, in other words, about "A criminal viktimology ". Today the criminal viktimology as branch of criminology continues to develop actively, accumulating and systematizing knowledge of the victims of crimes, passing to their concrete situational and personal specifics that the viktimology of violent crime, a viktimology of mercenary and violent crime leads to emergence in its structure of the new directions, such as, for example; juvenile viktimology; a viktimology of the crimes committed on imprudence; viktimology of family and household crime; penitentiary viktimology; a viktimology of crimes against justice, etc. Practically any full criminological research doesn't disregard victimological aspect. To a subject of studying of a criminal viktimology (within existence of a viktimology as branches of criminology) besides the victim of a crime, the relations connecting the criminal and the victim, the situations preceding a crime, the reasons and conditions of victim behavior, victimological prevention the victimity and victimization belong.
