Among serious threats of public safety still there is high a level of the committed crimes with use of firearms. Therefore more and more difficult tasks which should be solved in situations enough extreme, dangerous as for physical, and psychological health are set for the staff of law-enforcement bodies today. In this regard the problem of personal security when performing official duties gains special sharpness and relevance. Analyzing a problem of vocational training of staff of law-enforcement bodies, it is necessary to remember that their office activity demands from them special type of knowledge and abilities. They have to own professional skills of power detention of the offender with application of person-portable small arms, quickly hit the targets from the fixed firearms for which working off it is necessary long-term fire and tactical technical training. Staff of law-enforcement bodies quite often should face non-standard and extreme situations in a zone of counter-terrorist operations where they apply skills of possession of fire small arms to prevent criminal action and thus to keep the life and life of other citizens.
