In article an attempt to investigate some tendencies of a state policy of modern Russia in the sphere of provision of pensions is made. The main indicators characterizing a situation in the field of provision of pensions are analysed, the attention to their dynamics is paid. Data of Federal State Statistics Service on the number of pensioners and types of provision of pensions are studied. The analysis of practice of protection of the right for provision of pensions by means of the constitutional legal proceedings is carried out. Problems in the field of a regulation of an order of appointment and payment of separate types of pensions, including labor pensions, disability pensions, for long service, on the occasion of loss of the supporter are investigated (on the example of members of families of the military personnel, police officers, judges and other categories of persons). On concrete examples from the constitutional practice problems of practical realization of the right for the provision of pensions, arising at the persons which were carrying out pedagogical activity are also characterized; persons which were affected by radiation owing to accident on Chernobyl nuclear power electro plant; the persons passable military service, service in Department of Internal Affairs, the Public fire service, establishments and bodies of criminal and executive system, and their families.
