The problem of observance of law in the course of disclosure and investigation of criminal offences, until recently, has not lost its relevance. The results of the investigation are screened and receive appropriate evaluation in the course of the criminal proceedings in court. We anticipate significant changes associated with return of „objective truth“ definition to the criminal procedure legislation, with all ensuing consequences. The objectification of the investigation process is provided in various ways, one to be considered is the use of video in the execution of investigative actions as an additional way of fixation, providing greater visibility and the possibility of subsequent control of the correct application of procedural rules and tactical recommendations. Video allows to properly assess the integrity of actions of the official in charge of the criminal case, the freedom of expression of participants in criminal proceedings and other parameters specific to investigative actions from the point of view of its admissibility as evidence in the case.
