In modern world fighting corruption is assuming more actual importance because corrupt practices are penetrating almost into all spheres of social life leading to socio-economic and political processes stagnation. A high level of corruption-related crimes in Russia formed the situation in which, firstly, the citizens fall to the certain extent under the impression that it is difficult to win the exercise of their legal rights without bribery; secondly, the idea has arisen in the world that Russia is one of the most corrupted states. Corruption practices have a peculiar feature which is their growing political engagement, in particular, spreading into high-ranking power structures, and corruption deals are frequently tried to be „veiled“ as legitimate operations. Recently, the problem to resist corruption practices has transformed into one of the most important governmental tasks which resulted in constantly improving regulatory and legal framework, which regulates this sphere, and the country’s law enforcement agencies are facing new tasks to give a prompt response and prevent corruption-related crimes.
