Article is devoted to a problem of reforming of system of juvenile justice and the prospects of development o justice concerning minors in Russia. Authors have analysed positions of supporters and opponents of juvenile justice, jurisprudence on consideration of criminal cases concerning minors. The conclusion is as a result drawn that to put the country in new financial difficulties, reconstructing judicial system under a juvenile analog of foreign countries, is inexpedient. Allocation of juvenile courts in separate structure will entail withdrawal pains of the existing judicial system and will demand global reforming of the legislation, change of documentation, considerable material and technical inputs, carrying out active explanatory work with people, will cause misunderstanding from the population. Therefore specialization of judges is more preferable option, than specialization of courts. To reform the existing justice system concerning minors and the criminal and criminal procedure legislative base developed for years much more effectively and more economically, than to create new nothing the caused analog of foreign system.
