The definitions of „information“ and „computer information“ are given in the article. The authors state the technological progress innovations to form ways (directions) of legislation development related to the widening and the applying of: limits of admissibility and appearance of the new de facto sources of computer data; the computer systems while making procedurally significant decisions by the investigator; typical investigative actions; development of the additional guarantees to observe legality while investigating the criminal cases of the category under review.
