The article deals with the analysis of prevention of terrorism-related crimes nowadays. Some methods of counter-terrorism activity are revealed. One of them is based on the strengthening of counter-terrorism activity with the leading part of the law enforcement bodies. The other method combines the equal activity of the law enforcement bodies, mass media, education system and even the activity of every citizen while eliminating social-economic causes of the terrorism formation. Also the new organ of the executive power is named; the Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation has the tasks to combat terrorism and prevent terrorism-related crimes in cooperation with the interior bodies. Some recommendations on detection, prevention and restriction measures of terrorism-related activity are given.
