LEGAL AWARNESS AS COUNTERMEASURE TO PERSON LEGAL CONSCIOUSNESS DEFORMATION

Abstract (English):
The main idea of this article is researching of such legal phenomenon as legal awareness and finding its place in the forming of a person’s legal consciousness and also preventing its deformation. The main deformation forms of legal consciousness - legal infantilism, legal negativism, legal nihilism, legal idealism and legal egocentrism are researched by the author. The most dangerous deformation form of legal consciousness is legal nihilism. Its grounds in modern Russia and connection with the other negative phenomena of political-legal reality are analyzed. It is mentioned that all deformation forms of legal consciousness are interconnected. The author of the article states that legal nihilism and legal idealism as two sides of the problem are equally destructive for a society. In the end of the article the author comes to the conclusion that legal awareness as the knowledge of current legal rules and basic principles of law is the natural barrier to the deformation of a person legal awareness.
