The article deals with the results of study of topical problems related to participation of specialists of forensic units of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia, while the initial investigative actions on the facts of controlled or uncontrolled crashes of unmanned aerial devices take place. Among the main directions requiring the development and introduction into the practical activities of units to ensure technical and forensic support of the crimes under investigation are information issues, as well as organizational and tactical ones. These circumstances led to the transformation of approaches to the content of training programs for spe-cialists in "Forensic Examination" specialty, as well as additional professional programs of the refresher (ad-vanced studies) department to re-train officers of the forensic units of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia. The obligatory issues for study should involve: organizational and tactical aspects of the rational choice of the type and equipment set of unmanned aerial devices used by specialists as technical and forensic means; manual skills of piloting and visual control under conditions of limited space and illumination to contribute to obtain the necessary data; skills to use 3D modeling technologies that provide the possibility to reconstruct both the mechanism of a criminal case and the original appearance of the applied unmanned aerial devices; skills to work with trace complexes of various etymology realized in the field areas and crime laboratories. In the article particular attention is paid to the consideration of possibilities of a multifunctional training com-plex to study unmanned aerial devices and their components as a modern platform that provides both training specialists for law enforcement agencies and doing scientific work and experimental research.
