The article considers the problem of identifying as a separate group and systemizing writing features expressing the peculiarities of the written-intellectual functional-dynamic complex in order to improve the efficiency of solving forensic handwriting examination problems. The possibilities of forensic handwriting examination used for this purpose are analyzed. The authors consider that the traditional system of writing features – written speech and handwriting — must be improved. It does not conform to the intellectual structure of the written functional-dynamic complex and this fact negatively affects the solution of forensic handwriting examination problems and complicates developing forensic handwriting diagnostics. The article focuses on writing features expressing the peculiarities of the written-intellectual functional-dynamic complex, which have not yet received a clear systematization and description in forensic graphology. The conclusion is made that knowledge of writing features expressing the peculiarities of the written-intellectual functional-dynamic complex is of great scientific and practical importance, because it forms the basis for creating conditions for the further developing of the methodological potential of forensic handwriting examination.
