INVESTIGATION OF MORPHOLOGICAL SIGNS OF EXPOSURE TO PYROTECHNICS ON CLOTHING
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The subject of this work is the actual data obtained during an empirical study of the possibilities of determining a specific pyrotechnic device by traces found on clothing, which will optimize existing methods for identifying pyrotechnic devices for fireworks purposes. The aim of the work is to clarify the possibility of determining the regularity of the mechanism of trace formation when exposed to pyrotechnic devices for fireworks on clothing made of fabrics of various materials, and also to identify both coincidences and differences in traces depending on the pyrotechnic device used. As part of this work, expert experiments were conducted, during which the following were used ground-based fireworks "Beetle" (hazard class - 3), firecrackers "Corsair 2" (hazard class - 2). Clothes made of natural and artificial materials were used as trace-perceiving objects. As a result of the conducted research, it was revealed that there is a fundamental possibility at the stage of preliminary research to identify a specific pyrotechnic device for fireworks with a sufficiently high degree of reliability based on traces found on human clothing. The data obtained can be used in the practical activities of the internal affairs bodies in the investigation and disclosure of criminal cases related to the illegal storage, trafficking and abnormal use of pyrotechnic products.
