The article considers the design and tactical and technical characteristics of the hunting carbine TG-2 (Paradox) calibre .366 TCM. In general, they are determined by the practice of creating civilian models of firearms in the domestic arms industry on a constructive platform of combat firearms, in our case - 7,62 mm Kalashnikov assault rifles, as well as restrictive requirements for civilian firearms established by the Russian legislator. Based on the results of the study, a complex of criminalistically significant information was formed about the traces of a carbine on fired bullets, spent cartridges and obstacles damaged by a shot. The features of the traces of the rifling fields of the bore on the leading part of the fired bullets, the shape of the wiping belt, the size of the "defect" in the structure of the entrance firearm, individual additional traces of a close shot on targets made of fabric were revealed. Their appearance is determined by the design of the TG-2 hunting carbine (Paradox) calibre .366 TCM, as well as the characteristics of hunting cartridge used for shooting calibre .366 TCM and its samples. Differences have been established in the display of the main and additional traces of a close shot on targets in cases of firing from a carbine with cartridges calibre .366 TCM with FMJ shell bullets and KION 15 semi-shell bullets. It is noted that the approach proposed in the work to the formation of criminalistically significant information about the forensic ballistic characteristics of the TG-2 hunting carbine (Paradox) calibre .366 TCM and traces of its use meet the requirements of modern expert practice and can be used as the basis for scientific research of other models of both military and civilian firearms.
