FORMATION OF SUBJECTIVE PORTRAIT THROUGH THE USE NEURAL NETWORK BY A NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF A PERSON
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The description of a person’s physical appearance by way of a verbal portrait and the creation of a subjective portrait are the main means of securing and transmitting forensic information about the person’s physical appearance at the initial stage of the investigation. Information on the appearance of the offender comes from eyewitnesses of the crime in verbal form (when giving testimony), namely in the form of a verbal portrait, which is later transformed into a visual form - a subjective portrait. Information about the appearance of the criminal comes from them in verbal form, namely in the form of a verbal portrait, which is later transformed into a visual-figurative form - a subjective portrait. The process of compiling a subjective portrait is rather laborious and requires considerable time. The success of the detection and investigation of crimes is determined not only by the availability, completeness and accuracy of information on the appearance of a person, but also by the promptness of its receipt. In recent decades, a large range of computer programs for drawing up a graphical model of human appearance has been introduced into the service of Russian security agencies. In the course of the study, a review of software and hardware systems designed to visualize such information, used in the practical activities of internal affairs agencies. It was thus possible to identify a combination of their advantages and disadvantages and to conclude that it would be useful to include in the list of information resources used to visualize the verbal description of the person sought, software products based on trained neuronetworks. The proposed approach also removes contradictions in the use of different terminology and reduces the time spent on the compilation of subjective portraits through artificial intelligence systems.
