THE MAIN FEATURES AND PROPERTIES OF TEXTILE FIBERS OF THE NEW GENERATION
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article discusses fibers produced by the textile industry from agricultural processing products, which include SeaCell seaweed fibers, Ingeo corn fibers, soy fibers Soybean Protein Fiber. The key points of their manufacturing technology and the scope of application of new generation fibers are reflected. Studies of the above-mentioned fibers have been carried out and the results obtained by optical microscopy in direct transmitted and polarized light, organoleptic methods, the method of droplet reactions to solubility, infrared spectroscopy with Fourier transform (IR Fourier spectroscopy), as well as scanning electron microscopy are reflected. The main morphological features and chemical properties of these fibers, as well as the molecular composition of the main components, are determined. There are listed the signs and properties that necessary take into account in the process of conducting expert research when solving classification and diagnostic tasks in relation to these fibers and products made from it. The identified signs and properties are necessary when conducting expert studies in order to solve classification and diagnostic problems with respect to these fibers at the appropriate level.
