Abstract:
The article discusses the main provisions of the validation of the methodological support of forensic handwriting examination, covering issues of a theoretical, legal, technological and organizational nature. An opinion is expressed that at the present stage the evaluation of the effectiveness of methods and techniques for studying writing and handwriting is carried out subjectively - on the basis of expert experience. In this regard, the development of validation bases is of great importance - a mechanism for providing objective evidence of the compliance of methodological tools with their intended use in forensic activities. The main attention is paid to the concept, subject, tasks, objects, subjects, technology, purpose, organization of the production of validation of methods and techniques of forensic handwriting examination. Its significance and directions of use in law enforcement are determined. It is concluded that the validation of the methodological potential of forensic handwriting expertise is a priority for the development of forensic handwriting.
