ABOUT THE CURRENT STATUS AND TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FORENSIC HANDMARK EXAMINATION OF MANUSCRIPTS IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE GRAPHIC COMPOSITION
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article highlights the origin, current state and trends of further development of forensic handwriting examination of manuscripts of foreign language graphic composition. The opinion is expressed that the fundamentals of the theory and practice of forensic handwriting examination were developed by domestic criminologists mainly for the study of manuscripts made in the languages of the peoples of the USSR. At the same time, particular provisions regarding foreign language writing are characterized by significant gaps and need to be improved. It is concluded that at present the scientific potential of forensic handwriting contains largely outdated and fragmentary information about theoretical, methodological, organizational and tactical foundations of forensic handwriting examination of manuscripts of foreign-language graphic composition. These shortcomings determine the trends of research work in this area of special knowledge.
