ABOUT THE CREATION OF A UNIVERSAL FORENSIC SUITCASE FOR THE INSPECTION OF THE SCENE
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article is devoted to one of the most pressing issues of the use of technical and forensic means of inspection of the scene of an accident - the creation of a universal forensic suitcase in the most optimal configuration, suitable for providing as many different types of incidents as possible. The analysis of the content of modern criminalistic suitcases of domestic production carried out by the authors shows that they all contain a limited typical set of technical and forensic tools that do not allow to work effectively with all traces of crimes encountered at the scene. The article shows that in order to carry out a qualitative inspection of all the accident sites and conduct appropriate preliminary investigations of the identified traces and material evidence, extensive tools are needed that cannot be placed in one suitcase. Therefore, the authors suggest that it is expedient to equip a universal portable forensic suitcase for the inspection of the scene of an accident with means for detecting, fixing, removing and packing the most common incidents in criminalistic practice, such as crimes against property (theft, robbery, etc.) crimes against the person (murder, grievous bodily harm, etc.), as well as on the facts of various road accidents. As a rule, fingerprint and tracological traces, as well as traces of biological origin and various micro-objects are detected and seized at the sites of such incidents. Based on the personal long-term experience of the inspection of the scene of an accident and the survey of experts from 53 regions, the authors proposed an original version of a universal forensic suitcase.
