Abstract:
The article deals with the main provisions of the forensic handwriting examination of manuscripts of foreign language graphic composition: concept, subject, tasks. The opinion is expressed that all varieties of the study of foreign-language manuscripts represent a separate category of tasks of forensic handwriting examination as a whole, as a kind of forensic examination. Therefore, its main theoretical provisions are of the most general nature and can be used to develop particular provisions by analogy. It is concluded that the central definitions of forensic handwriting examination of foreign-language graphic manuscripts (concept, subject, tasks) are of great importance in the development of forensic handwriting. They serve as the basis for understanding the essence of this expert study, the specifics of its objects - manuscripts of certain types and types of writing, the implementation of their forensic properties, features, etc.
