Abstract:
The subject of the work are the key concepts of the theory of forensic examination, the purpose is to formulate the concept of the object of this science, the main method of research is comparative law. The results of the work consist in the fact that for the theory of forensic examination it is advisable to expand its object, extend it beyond the limits of exclusively expert activity, including elements of criminal activity in the system of theoretical understanding as well. The article criticizes the dominant position, examines the concept of the object of forensic examination from the perspective of modern science, and formulates the author's vision of this concept.
