The article discusses the methodological foundations of the examination of modern locking and sealing devices, reveals the essence of the integrative approach of their research, an attempt is made to create an algorithm for diagnostic research from the point of view of the technological component of these types of products. The definition of the methodology of examination of modern sealing devices as a set of logical methods of expert research, determination of the order and sequence of stages of examination is given. The paper substantiates the need to attract specialists in the field of materials science and forensic computer expertise for a complete and comprehensive study of modern locking and sealing devices.
