SPECIFICITY OF TEACHING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES TO THE FOREIGN STUDENTS AT THE VOLGOGRAD ACADEMY OF THE INTERNAL AFFAIRS MINISTRY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract (English):
The specificity of teaching information subjects to the foreign students on the preparing and first courses at the Volgograd academy of the Internal affairs ministry of the Russian Federation are described in the paper. The main difficulties during the adaptation to the new educational circumstances at the course of information science are defined: lack of language basis; different training level in information science; original educational traditions vary from education in our country. By the case of teaching general subjects at the Volgograd academy of the Internal affairs ministry of the Russian Federation the ways of solving the educational barriers are examined. The necessity of teaching information technology with Russian language on the preparing course is described. The national and personal peculiarities of the foreign students are shown and the ways of treating them are proposed. The author underlines the importance of teaching information subjects during the whole period of studying at the academy.
