The article deals with the procedure of arrangement and conduction of one of the forms of classes - individual control interview. The author studies this issue in terms of introduction of individualization elements in the educational process. Such an interview differs fundamentally from other methods of communication between lecturers and cadets. Their mutual relations are developed on the basis of mutual interest and cooperation. The process of individual interview reveals and demonstrates personal characteristics and peculiarities: knowledge, attitude to the education, specific features of attention, memory, thinking and independent work skills. The individual interview like no other form of the pedagogical activity intensifies cadets’ independent work, improves efficiency of study of each topic and makes cadets capable of self-education ability.
