The article considers the problem of value justification of the system of continuous education of police officers. There is overview of scientific-pedagogical researches on the problem. It is noted that the availability of the necessary organizational conditions for a continuous education of employees of internal Affairs bodies, including step-by-step educational training specialist, requires analysis and approval of the basic values of an education. Determined strategic value - continuous education of employees of internal Affairs bodies, including their professionalism and competence, personal development, social and moral qualities. Subjects indicated significant value orientations continuing education: students; training; employers. There are six different values of the educational categories of students.
