The article attempts to consider the main elements of the forensic characteristics of fraud in the field of Bank lending. The author analyzes the information about the method of committing a crime in the sphere under consideration, about the method of concealment of the crime, about the identity of the offender, about the mechanism of investigation, about the situation in which these crimes are committed. In the article the author points to the relationship of the above elements of forensic characteristics and the need to identify and establish them for effective investigation of fraud in the field of credit. The article describes the main ways of committing fraud in the field of credit used by criminals to achieve their goals. The author also points to the mechanism of investigation. In this context, it is mainly about fictitious or falsified documents provided to the Bank to obtain a loan. In addition, the author among the main elements of the forensic characteristics indicates the identity of the offender and the situation in which the crime was committed.
